New War Stories Campaign for World of Tanks Console Now Available
Wargaming.net has continued to be busy supporting the console version of World of Tanks as Kennedy’s War, the newest War Stories campaign in World of Tanks has launched and is now available for download .
The Kennedy’s War campaign puts players on the frontline of annihilation in an alternate history version of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The United States and the Soviet Union stand on the brink of war when Soviet forces install nuclear missiles in Cuba to counter a US invasion, creating a nuclear stalemate.
This lastes chapter is the fourth War Story to be released following Brothers in Armor, Flashpoint Berlin and Operation Sealion. Together these bite sized stories offer players of World of Tanks on console a single/coop experience that is well written and has some storylines to play through as well.
In addition to releasing Kennedy’s War, the development team from Wargaming Chicago is about to finalize the latest incarnation of World of Tanks. This update will allow players to witness tank battles in stunning 4K resolution and HDR with Microsoft’s upcoming mid-generation update of the Xbox One and World of Tanks will be a launch title when the Xbox One X releases in early November.
Oh, and one final tidbit. It seems that Wargaming has a few quick stats for you. They would like you to know that World of Tanks console has now:
- 499 tanks
- 50+ maps
- 9 Nations
